Zhu Deng is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Earth System Science, Tsinghua University. He received his bachelor’s degree in Sun Yat-sen University. His research interests include carbon emission accounting, carbon neutrality, and data science. Currently, as a core member of the Carbon Monitor (<https://carbonmonitor.org>), he is working on developing high-resolution carbon emission inventories.
